Intense ruby red color with violet reflections that turn to garnet with ageing. The bouquet is balsamic, spicy with notes of red fruits, currants, blackberries, morello cherries and hints of toast. Elegant in thickness, savoury and austere, pleasantly tannic, alcoholic, rounded but with a final sensation of extreme cleanliness of the palate thanks to a slightly acidic hint that only the most expert connoisseurs recognise in the typical characteristics of the Raboso Piave vine.
Pair with red meats and game, swordfish and bluefin tuna, aged cheeses. dark chocolate.
