ROSSESE di Dolceaqua D.O.C.

Rossese di Dolceacqua, the first DOC in Liguria, owes its charm, as well as its undoubted great taste, to its history. It arrives from the Etruscans and Greeks (vines grown with the gobelet shape are still present in many vineyards and could be a Hellenic heritage), but over the centuries everyone has fallen in love with the warm and sensual Rossese di Dolceacqua. From Andrea Doria, who chose it as the wine to encourage his own men before each battle, to Pope Paul III who drank it, as if it were a medicine, as a tonic to fight old age weaknesses. And Napoleon who, at the height of his power, always wanted barrels of it in Paris and thought it to be the only wine which could give him any comfort in his exile in Saint Helena…

SERRO DE’ BECCHI is vinous and fruity, with ripe red berries.  It is soft, balanced, with persistent hints of red fruit.  Pair with roasts, cold cuts or medium-aged cheeses.

Vernaccia di San Gimignano D.O.C.G.

(Cappella Sant’Andrea)

Vernaccia di San Gimignano, the only white wine from Tuscany with DOCG status, is an ancient varietal served at the tables of kings, popes and other noble families including the Medici family.  It's been mentioned in Boccacio's Decameron and by Dante in his Divine Comedy when he wrote about gluttony and referenced Pope Martin IV for his preference to indulge in eels soaked in Vernaccia di San Gimignano.

Clara Stella is dry, fresh, floral and pleasant.  We also have the Vernaccia from the vineyard's 48 year+ old vines with more mature mineral notes without compromising its freshness.  Great as an aperitivo or pair charcuterie and also with pasta with white clam sauce, seafood dishes.

Tartufissima® Egg Pasta with Barolo Wine and Truffle (Tartuflanghe)

A great combination between the King of the wines of the Langhe area and the truffle. The truffle’s delicacy and rarity made it a gift of esteemed value that the Savoy family used to send to members of European sovereignty.
