About Villa Raiano
Located in the heart of Campania, in southern Italy's volcanic wine country, Villa Raiano is a family-owned estate dedicated to crafting authentic expressions of the region's indigenous grape varietals. With vineyards planted in the mineral-rich volcanic soils of Irpinia, the estate produces wines that capture the essence of this ancient winemaking territory, where viticulture dates back to Greek and Roman times.
Villa Raiano specializes in Campania's most celebrated white wines, including Fiano d'Avellino DOCG, known for its honeyed richness and mineral backbone, Greco di Tufo DOCG, prized for its citrus intensity and volcanic minerality, and Falanghina Beneventano IGT, offering fresh floral aromatics and crisp acidity. The estate's crown jewel is Taurasi DOCG, often called the "Barolo of the South," a powerful and age-worthy red crafted from Aglianico grapes grown on steep hillside vineyards. Each wine reflects the family's commitment to traditional winemaking methods, sustainable viticulture, and respect for the unique volcanic terroir that gives these wines their distinctive character and complexity.
